How to Reset OPA NG Cloud Password

Summary:
- The Nextgen Cloud RDP desktop is a virtual computer that has Nextgen installed on it.
- This computer is accessible from anywhere in the world.
- In order to access the Nextgen EMR system, you will be required to be logged into the Nextgen RDP desktop computer.
- Prior to first use, your password will need to be reset.
- You may also use the following guide to reset the password at anytime.
NOTE:
- This will change the RDP (computer password & 2FA) only
- this will not change the ePCS password
- to change ePCS for providers, please reach out to support@newportmed.com
Process:
Server (1st) Password Log-in Password Reset
- The password you received needs to be reset prior to accessing the NG Cloud for the first time.
- Navigate to: https://rdg124547.nextgenmcs.com
- from there click on “Click Here to reset your password”
- In the new page, enter the prefix NGNMS\ + your provided user name (example: NGNMS\josorio) and password and enter a NEW password (8 character length, Capital, Lowercase, number, and special character)
- If it worked correctly, the page should now state “Your password has been successfully Changed”
- Once the password has been changed, you can move onto logging into the system…
