How to Reset OPA NG Cloud Password

The Nextgen Cloud RDP desktop is a virtual computer that has Nextgen installed on it.
This computer is accessible from anywhere in the world.
In order to access the Nextgen EMR system, you will be required to be logged into the Nextgen RDP desktop computer.
Prior to first use, your password will need to be reset.
You may also use the following guide to reset the password at anytime.

NOTE:

This will change the RDP (computer password & 2FA) only
this will not change the ePCS password
to change ePCS for providers, please reach out to support@newportmed.com

Process:

Server (1st) Password Log-in Password Reset

The password you received needs to be reset prior to accessing the NG Cloud for the first time.
- Navigate to: https://rdg124547.nextgenmcs.com
- from there click on “Click Here to reset your password”
- In the new page, enter the prefix NGNMS\ + your provided user name (example: NGNMS\josorio) and password and enter a NEW password (8 character length, Capital, Lowercase, number, and special character)
- If it worked correctly, the page should now state “Your password has been successfully Changed”
- Once the password has been changed, you can move onto logging into the system…
